Michael H. Gold, MD
Dr. Michael H. Gold is the founder and medical director of Gold Skin Care Center, Advanced Aesthetics Medical Spa, & The Laser & Rejuvenation Center. Dr. Gold is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon and oversees the various facets of the Center’s operations; a combination of medical and surgical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, & aesthetic services. Dr. Gold has earned worldwide recognition for providing patients with leading edge technological advances in dermatology and aesthetic skin care. He plays and integral role in the development of new pharmaceutical products and medical devices through his clinical research, and presents the results regularly at national and international dermatology and cosmetic meetings.
Julie A. Biron, Director of Research
Mrs. Biron came to Tennessee Clinical Research Center in January 2004. Through the numerous studies that TCRC has conducted, Mrs. Biron has developed strong working relationships and earned an outstanding reputation with physicians, pharmaceutical companies and Contract Research Organizations. She has created a extensive network for study referrals and continues to garner repeat research requests from nationally renowned businesses. A consertive effort has been put forth in reaching out to dermatologic ground breaking companies.
Amanda Priest, LPN, CCRP
Amanda is a 2002 graduate of Tennessee Technology Center in Nashville and began her career at the Centennial Medical Center in Nashville where she worked as a staff nurse on the post-op neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery floor. Amanda also has experience in drug rehabilitation, pediatrics and dermatology. She joined the Tennessee Clinical Research Center staff in 2008 and is presently involved in both cosmetic and pharmaceutical-based research trials.
Brynne Thompson, RN, CCRP
Brynne graduated the RN program at University of New Mexico is Albuquerque in 1993. She began her career at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Albuquerque on the Orthopedic and Neurology floor, thenspent 6 years in Family Practice and Pediatrics. After relocating to Nashville, Brynne joined the staff at Tennessee Clinical Research Center in 2007 and has coordinated a variety of trials including Acne, Psoriasis, Actinic Keratosis, Frown Lines, and Sun Damage. Brynne continues to be involved in educational opportunities in research.
Whitney Sensing, LPN, CCRP
Whitney is a 2008 graduate of Tennessee Technology Center in Nashville. She previously worked for a family practitioner doing patient intake and assessments, as well as assisting the physician with individual patient procedures. She also has experience working with mentally disabled individuals through Volunteers of America. Whitney is currently working towards her bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She joined the Tennessee Clinical Research Center staff in 2010 and is presently involved in both cosmetic and pharmaceutical-based research trials.
April Wilson, RN, BSN, CCRP
April rejoined the staff at Tennessee Clinical Research Center in 2011 as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
She was previously employed at Tennesee Clinical Research Center for nine years before taking a three year hiatus to enjoy time with her twins. April graduated from Belmont University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Kristi Arriaga, LP, Executive Assistant and Patient Recruitment Specialist
Kristi graduated from Tennessee Technology Center in Murfreesboro, TN in 2009, and continued her education at Motlow State in Smyrna, TN. She began her career at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic as a dermatology nurse. Kristi brought her valuable expertise to Tennessee Clinical Research Center in September 2017. She is always accessible to answer any patient questions.
